Note: For those interested in an internal pelvic floor assessment, we recommend scheduling from 13 weeks onwards. It is not recommended to perform an internal examination during the first trimester.

Postnatal Physiotherapy

We recommend all women have a postnatal assessment around 6 weeks post-birth to check pelvic floor and abdominal recovery and safely plan their return to exercise. A postnatal appointment is suitable for anyone who has had a baby in the last 12 months.

Mastitis and Therapeutic Ultrasound Appointments

Mastitis and engorgement can cause significant pain and discomfort, and we offer therapeutic ultrasound treatments to help manage and alleviate these symptoms. At Peak Flo Physio, we offer a comprehensive approach to treating engorgement and mastitis, with a goal to alleviate pain, enhance healing, and empower you with knowledge for ongoing breast care.

What to Expect:

  • Assessment of symptoms and affected areas

  • Therapeutic ultrasound to promote healing and reduce inflammation

  • Education on mastitis management and breast care techniques

Remedial Massage & Dry Needling

Massage and dry needling are effective for relieving muscle pain, improving circulation, and enhancing muscle function. Our services can help with everything from acute injuries to chronic muscle tension. Our team are experts in pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage, scar tissue release work and soft tissue therapy.

What to Expect:
